Girl in Tiger Stream
"Girl in Tiger Stream" is a traditional art piece by Laura Lemur. Colored with alcohol markers and lined with black-inked liners, it depicts a young girl enamored by the forest around her. She paddles through a stream of lighted orbs and “curious” tigers.
This was another piece of artwork inspired by a dream. One night, I dreamt I was rapidly floating down rivers and waterfalls. A portion of this stream contained these glowing orbs and tigers. With trees all around, it was more so I was floating with the tigers versus me trying to avoid them. The girl in the picture (obviously not me) was from an unrelated sketch, however, I’ve wanted to incorporate her in artwork for quite some time. This was definitely the perfect opportunity.
